How to distinguish between Screen Size, Resolution, and Aspect Ratio?

  • Screen Size: This is the diagonal length of the display area and is unrelated to the black borders of the touch screen.
  • Aspect Ratio (Display Ratio): This is calculated based on the resolution and is unrelated to the physical length-to-width ratio of the mechanical structure.
  1. Resolution: This is divided into display resolution and image resolution. 
    - Display Resolution (also known as screen resolution) refers to the number of pixels along the horizontal and vertical axes of the screen, measured in pixels (px). 
    - Image Resolution refers to the amount of data stored within an image, which determines the level of fine detail.
